Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until it’s creamy and fluffy.
- Gradually add the granulated sugar while continuing to beat until well combined.
- Add the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt, then beat until light and fluffy.
- Use immediately to frost cakes or cupcakes or store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months. Re-whip if needed.
