- 1 cup beef broth
- Wood chips for smoking (e.g., hickory or oak)
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- In a bowl, mix salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Rub the spice mix evenly over the beef short ribs.
- Place the ribs in the smoker, bone side down, and add wood chips for smoke flavor.
- Smoke the ribs for about 5-6 hours, until they reach an internal temperature of 200°F (93°C).
- If desired, wrap the ribs in foil for the last hour.
- Remove the ribs from the smoker and let them rest for 15-30 minutes before serving.
Notes
To enhance smoky flavors, soak wood chips in water for 30 minutes. Pair with coleslaw or cornbread for a classic BBQ experience.
