- 1 loaf of bread dough
- 1 cup of sliced pepperoni
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Olive oil (for greasing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the bread dough into a rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
- Evenly distribute the sliced pepperoni and shredded mozzarella over the dough, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other.
- Pinch the ends of the rolled dough to seal.
- Place the rolled dough seam-side down on a greased baking sheet.
- Brush the top with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
