Description

mulitas, offer vibrant flavors with crispy corn tortillas, melty cheese, and savory meat for a delightful culinary experience.

Ingredients

  • Corn tortillas
  • Cheese (such as Oaxaca or Chihuahua cheese)
  • Meat (such as carne asada, pork, or chicken)
  • Onion (chopped)
  • Cilantro (chopped)
  • Salsa
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Prepare a skillet by heating it over medium heat to achieve a crispy texture on the tortillas.
  2. Layer the ingredients by placing one tortilla in the skillet, topping it with cheese and meat.
  3. Add a second tortilla on top and press down gently. Cook until the bottom is golden and cheese melts, about 3–4 minutes.
  4. Flip the mulita carefully and cook the other side until golden, another 3–4 minutes.
  5. Remove from skillet and fill with chopped onion and cilantro.
  6. Serve with a side of salsa and lime wedges for a zesty finish.

Notes

For a gooey texture, use Oaxaca or Chihuahua cheese. Experiment with various meats or grilled veggies for a vegetarian option. Serve alongside colorful salsa and tortilla chips for a fiesta experience.
