Description

A fun twist on classic Italian lasagna, these roll-ups are stuffed with creamy ricotta and topped with melted cheese, making them perfect for any family dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • Lasagna noodles
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Marinara sauce
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then rinse under cold water and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Take a cooked lasagna noodle, spread the cheese mixture over it, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and roll it up carefully.
  6. Place each rolled noodle seam-side down in the baking dish.
  7. Pour marinara sauce over the rolled-ups and sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve warm.
