- 500g ground chicken
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- Skewers (if using wooden, soak in water beforehand)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add the ground chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green chilies, and cilantro.
- Add the garam masala, cumin powder, and salt to the mixture. Mix everything together until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and mold them onto the skewers.
- Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through and golden brown.
- Take the kebabs off the grill and serve hot with your favorite chutney or yogurt dip.
Notes
For extra moisture, add a tablespoon of yogurt to the mixture. You can also add chopped bell peppers or zucchini for color and nutrition.
