Description

Sweet and smoky glazed grilled carrots that are easy to prepare and make a perfect side dish for summer barbecues.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh carrots
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  2. Peel, trim, and cut the fresh carrots in half lengthwise.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Toss the halved carrots in the glaze until evenly coated.
  5. Place the carrots on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally.
  6. Remove from the grill and drizzle with any additional glaze if desired.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

These carrots are best served warm and can be paired with grilled chicken or fish. You can also prep them ahead of time to save on grilling day.
