- 1 pizza dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup green chiles (canned or roasted)
- 1/2 cup chorizo sausage (cooked and crumbled)
- 1/4 cup red onion (sliced)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness.
- Carefully transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the surface of the dough with olive oil.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough.
- Layer on the green chiles, cooked chorizo, and sliced red onion.
- Sprinkle oregano, salt, and pepper over the top.
- Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove the pizza from the oven, slice it up, and enjoy!
Notes
For extra heat, add sliced jalapeños or red pepper flakes. For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free pizza crust.
