Description

A quick and flavorful meal with tender chicken, colorful peppers, and zesty fajita seasoning, all cooked in one pan.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fajita seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortillas (for serving)
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, salsa

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the sliced chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  3. Toss in the sliced bell pepper and onion, add fajita seasoning, and cook for an additional 3–5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and stir well.
  5. Serve the mixture in warm tortillas with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Customize by adding jalapeños for heat or use corn tortillas for a gluten-free option. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
