Description

A comforting dish of creamy, cheesy, and buttery layers of potatoes, perfect for elevating any meal.


Ingredients

  • 3 pounds of potatoes
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1/2 cup of diced onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the diced onions until translucent.
  4. Layer the potato slices in a large baking dish, sprinkling salt and pepper between layers.
  5. Pour the heavy cream over the layered potatoes and top with grated cheddar cheese.
