Description

A delicious and effortless side dish made in a Crock-Pot, transforming sweet potatoes into a sweet and comforting dish perfect for family dinners and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the sweet potatoes, then cut them into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Place the sweet potato cubes into the Crock-Pot and pour the sugar mixture over them.
  4. Pour the cup of water into the Crock-Pot.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until tender.
