- 2 pounds chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in your slow cooker in a single layer.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over the chicken.
- Add the cream cheese on top of the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is shredded easily.
- Shred the chicken in the slow cooker using two forks.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add diced jalapeños or hot sauce. You can also make it vegetarian by substituting chicken with cauliflower or chickpeas.
