Description

A creamy, savory dish combining tender chicken with ranch seasoning, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in your slow cooker in a single layer.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. Add the cream cheese on top of the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is shredded easily.
  5. Shred the chicken in the slow cooker using two forks.
  6. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add diced jalapeños or hot sauce. You can also make it vegetarian by substituting chicken with cauliflower or chickpeas.
