Description

A delightful treat that combines the fudgy goodness of brownies with the fun twist of cookies, featuring rich chocolate flavor and colorful rainbow sprinkles.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter and sugar mixture, then mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and rainbow sprinkles until evenly distributed.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still slightly soft.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a gooey texture, take the cookies out of the oven when they’re slightly underbaked. They’ll continue to firm up on the cooling rack.
