An easy-to-serve casserole that combines the comforting flavors of a classic cheeseburger with hearty ground beef, creamy cheese, and pasta.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups cooked pasta (elbow macaroni or similar)
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup pickles, diced (optional)
- 1 tablespoon mustard (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until cooked, draining excess fat.
- In a large bowl, mix together the cooked pasta, beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, milk, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- If desired, stir in diced pickles and mustard.
- Grease a baking dish and pour the mixture into it, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a fun presentation, serve in individual ramekins. Substitute ground beef with turkey or plant-based options, and use different cheeses for variation.
