Delightful Easy Buttermilk Waffles that transform any morning into a cozy occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Grease the waffle iron if necessary, and pour the batter onto the hot iron. Cook until golden brown, usually around 3-5 minutes.
  6. Serve the waffles warm with your favorite toppings.

Notes

These waffles are best served immediately but can be kept warm in a low oven (about 200°F) while you finish cooking the rest.
