Description

A simple and satisfying slow cooker recipe for barbecue beef that fills your kitchen with tantalizing aromas and offers melt-in-your-mouth tenderness.


Ingredients

  • 3 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Buns, for serving

Instructions

  1. Season the beef chuck roast generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the seasoned beef in the slow cooker, adding sliced onion and minced garlic on top.
  3. Pour the barbecue sauce and beef broth over the beef.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, carefully remove the beef and shred it using two forks.
  6. Return the shredded beef to the slow cooker and mix with the sauce; cook on low for an additional 30 minutes.
  7. Serve the barbecue beef on buns, drizzling with additional barbecue sauce if desired.
