Description

A refreshing Indian drink that combines creamy yogurt and aromatic spices like rose water and cardamom, perfect for cooling off or as a sweet treat after a meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon rose water
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • Ice cubes
  • Pistachios, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the yogurt, milk, sugar, rose water, and ground cardamom.
  2. Blend the mixture until it’s smooth and creamy, ensuring all ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Add ice cubes to the blender and blend again until the lassi is frothy and refreshing.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  5. Pour the lassi into glasses and garnish with chopped pistachios.
  6. Serve chilled and enjoy the burst of flavors!

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute yogurt and milk with coconut yogurt and almond milk. Can add a pinch of saffron for extra flavor.
