Description

A quick and flavorful dish, these Indian chicken seekh kebabs bring the spicy warmth of Indian cuisine to your kitchen. Perfect for family gatherings or weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 500g ground chicken
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 23 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Skewers (if using wooden, soak in water beforehand)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add the ground chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green chilies, and cilantro.
  2. Add the garam masala, cumin powder, and salt to the mixture. Mix everything together until well combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and mold them onto the skewers.
  4. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through and golden brown.
  6. Take the kebabs off the grill and serve hot with your favorite chutney or yogurt dip.

Notes

For extra moisture, add a tablespoon of yogurt to the mixture. You can also add chopped bell peppers or zucchini for color and nutrition.
