Description

Warm, cheesy, and packed with flavorful pepperoni, this delightful homemade Pepperoni Bread is perfect for snacking or sharing at gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of bread dough
  • 1 cup of sliced pepperoni
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Olive oil (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the bread dough into a rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Evenly distribute the sliced pepperoni and shredded mozzarella over the dough, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  4. Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other.
  5. Pinch the ends of the rolled dough to seal.
  6. Place the rolled dough seam-side down on a greased baking sheet.
  7. Brush the top with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
