  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Activate the Yeast: In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Combine the Mixtures: Add melted butter, egg, honey, and the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the Dough: Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Let the Dough Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
  6. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Roll Out the Dough: Once risen, roll out the dough, spread melted butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  8. Roll and Cut: Roll tightly and cut into pieces.
